Holiday Gift Drive

If you haven’t had a chance to sign-up yet and would like to, please visit the SignUp Group to browse the gift wish list. 

Please add to the SignUp comments the Student's Name, Grade and Teacher Name that will be bringing the gift to school to help us track the class with the highest participation which will receive a pizza party in their classroom as a reward.  

There are still THREE MORE WEEKS left and many gift options available  - any classroom still has the chance to win the pizza party!

If you’ve already signed up please have your student bring the gift(s) into their classroom on/before Thursday December 11. If you would like to contribute to grocery gift cards please use the Venmo or Zelle information below or sign-up for a gift card.

HOW TO DONATE

 

  1. Sign up: Visit the SignUp Group to browse the gift wish lists. Choose a gift and sign up.

  2. Shop: Gifts should be NEW and UNWRAPPED. Links to potential gifts are provided for ease, but don’t feel obligated to buy from the Amazon link or the specific item noted. 

  3. Send in the gift: Students should bring the gifts to their classroom by Thursday, December 11th.

REMINDERS:

  1. Donations should be new, rather than gently used. Thank you for respecting this policy. AWC gladly accepts gently used items other times of the year. 

  2. Gift cards are always welcome and needed. There are options on the SignUp for physical gift cards. You are also welcome to contribute to a donation pool where we will be purchasing grocery gift cards for the families. If you would like to contribute, please send your support via one of the following on or before December 11th:

  3. This program is completely optional. We’d love it if all Carderock students can bring in at least one gift, but please know that we sincerely appreciate any and all participation. Buying just one extra gift this season can go a long way and mean so much to these families. The classroom with the highest percent participation will receive a reward!
